One glitch in my appointment: I absolutely KNOW Sophie’s nails were not trimmed as requested and paid for. Rather than a refund of $23, I was offered $23 credit on the next trim. I would have preferred a refund.

Amanda is caring and considerate and a great vet. I m happy to have her caring for my dogs.

I am very pleased with the office and particularly with Dr. Amanda. We live right new the PT location but in the almost 16 years we have lived here we have used a different vet. This is a big change for us and we are very pleased to have made the change.

The appointment was fine for a new patient exam, but my major reason for bringing Luke to the clinic was my concern for the tapeworms that I clearly saw in his stools. I ended up going to a pet store to buy the dewormer, because waiting for the lab results and then ordering the pills online would have taken unnecessary time! And Luke was already showing signs of distress and illness. I don t understand why treatment was delayed....and the test results came back negative, despite my seeing lots of the nasty critters in Luke s stools!

I feel like everyone at Chimacum Valley Vet cares about my dog. I feel very confident continuing my vet busniness here since 1990.

This was our first visit. When I called and made the appointment, I gave our prior vet’s name and her business name to the person at your office, so our 2 cats records could be transferred to you. I tried to give our vets phone number to the woman, but she said she could look it up. I asked her once, possibly twice, if she was going to request the records, or should I. She emphatically said she would do it. When we arrived with our two cats at 8:15am, no one had our records, so we could not be seen. A disappointing first contact with your office. We are not ones to complain, so I decided to not mention this. But since you are asking, I’ll let you know. I called and got our records, forwarded them to your office, and made a second appointment. We look forward to finally meeting the doctors and staff.

Alex has to come in every month for an Adequan injection. You have told me that these appointments cannot be schedule in advance of the first of each month - as an example it would be very helpful if you could schedule Alex s appointments for the 3rd Wednesday of every month. It is a bit annoying that I have been told this cannot be done. Instead, I have to call at the beginning of each month, not before, to make Alex s appointment for that month. This frequently results in a much longer time between appointments than is good for Alex.
