The appointment was to teach me how to give our cat an injection. Heather did a great job of explaining the process, showing me the process, and then walking me through the process. It went very smoothly and efficiently.

I was thrilled with Dr Amanda! I felt like i was finally seeing an old fashioned doctor who actually cared, who would remember me and my pet, who would see me in an emergency etc . . They don t make vets or doctors of any kind like this anymore

Both my pups LOVE going to the vet! Even if we are just walking by, they both will try to pull me back to the clinic! They refuse to walk any further- I have to pick one up while dragging the other away. If this isn’t evidence of your good care and service of Tovi and Pearl, then I don’t know what is!

Saw a tech who was wonderful. Did get deworming medicine but noticed on bill that our pets weight was listed still as 60lbs and he is 82 lbs now. Front desk staff could have been more courteous as it was my first time there, I had some questions and just very curt in answering them.

Even if they know me, it was very disconcerting for Emily to literally come within inches, nearly kissing close, of me while we were checking in. She did respect my no-touch wishes, though. It was just startling to be talking to Jennifer (who did a great job!) and then have a body nearly touching me without warning.

Love the staff here. Thanks for the care. I appreciate how the staff responded to prioritize another pet who needed to be seen first. There have been times I had that pet…happy to wait. And then had full and extra attention.

This was our first visit to CVVH. We are having all four of our cats examined for various issues and I am looking forward to our next visit. Of particular note is the efficiency and courtesy the appointment staff afforded me when I scheduled these visits. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Considering how inundated you all are after the closure of Oak Bay Veterinary, I think you are managing your office extremely well. Your staff continues to be kind, considerate, and caring. Dr. Rooker is patient, interested, and makes us all feel (especially my scaredy-dog, Sawyer) like we are the only clients in the office. Thanks for all of your hard work everybody!

Too much to write, let s just say my husband phoned me today and said, those Chimacum Vets, they don t like us. I called afterwards to discuss it but I was put on hold for 5 minutes. I have some other concerns I would like to discuss, however, I prefer to speak to the owner.

Your survey leaves out the fact that whatever bwas done that day, traumatized My dog. I heard her screaming during her blood and urine tests. She had already just peed. How did they get urine? Squeeze her empty bladder? Is that why she hasn t walked since?? I had to almist carry her home and PUT HER DOWN TODAY!!! blood sample not viable?? How much was taken?? WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY DOG?. She was getting better, eating better. I want my $ back for tests if you can t provide the results. And I won t be bringing her in again. She DID NOT SURVIVE THE FIRST TRAUMA!
